Easy Scanner Privacy Policy
This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Easy Scanner for mobile devices that was created by Wellrity. We regard the protection and the confidentiality of your data as very important.
Your documents
Unless specified otherwise, your documents are stored on your device and are never sent to a third party server unless your explicitly choose to (eg. export by Email, Dropbox, Box, Evernote…).
What information does Easy Scanner obtain and how is it used?
In order to provide better services to you, Easy Scanner may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, and information about the way you use Easy Scanner.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may update Our Privacy Policy at any time. Please notice our Privacy Policy regularly to acknowledge the latest update.
Your Consent
By using Easy Scanner, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your Easy Scanner account and all data associated with it at any time, directly in the app:
1. Open Easy Scanner.
2. Go to My Account → Account Info.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.
When you confirm, your account is scheduled for deletion and enters a 30-day grace period. During this period you can cancel the deletion at any time by simply signing back in. If you do not sign back in, your account and data are permanently and irreversibly deleted after 30 days.
What is deleted: your account profile and authentication details — including data from whichever sign-in method you used (Google, Apple, Facebook, X, or email) — together with your scanned documents and pages and the associated files stored in our cloud. This applies regardless of which login provider you used.
If you used Facebook (or another social login) and can no longer access the app, you can still request deletion by emailing support@easyscanner.io from the email address linked to your account, with the subject line "Delete my account." We will verify the request, permanently delete your account and data within 30 days, and confirm once it's complete.
We retain limited records only where required by law (e.g., billing/transaction records for tax purposes); these are kept no longer than legally required and are not used for any other purpose.
Cancellation of personal account
You may contact us at support@easyscanner.io to cancel your account. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time. After cancelation of your account, we are not obliged to keep or provide information under your account. Except as otherwise provided by law, we will delete your personal information if so requested by you.
Severability
If there is anything herein contradicting the legal provisions applicable to it, the legal provisions prevail over the contradicting part. If there is anything not covered hereunder, the applicable legal provisions will fill in and govern.
If any clause or part of the Privacy Policy is declared or ruled according to applicable law unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the other clause or other part of the Privacy Policy shall not be affected. The Privacy Policy is to be interpreted with the unlawful, invalid or unenforceable clause or part being deleted
